Supply Nation's goal is to connect Australian corporate and government organisations with Indigenous business suppliers who are already achieving success or have the potential to develop into vibrant, vital businesses.

Supply Nation is a fast growing organisation whose membership is also on the rise. To match its rapid growth, the organisation required specific technology in place to better manage its membership (members and suppliers), events (including its annual conference), resources and segmentation to run its EDM campaigns.

After the first iteration of the website when the business re-branded from AIMSC to Supply Nation, the MRM component was to be directly integrated with Supply Nation's preferred CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics.

A new look website was released sporting the new brand and a new responsive design to ensure the website looks great across all devices.

Member and supplier data are now managed via Dynamics CRM. The integration with the website MRM enables members and suppliers to login to the website to search for corporate members and certified suppliers.

From MRM, the members are allocated to a segment that determines the content and resources they are able to access from within the website member and supplier portals. If a user logs in to update their details via either portal, this data is then pushed back into Dynamics CRM as a seamless two-way integration of data.

Corporate members can post available projects via a dynamic opportunity board. Both groups can register and pay for events via the site which is also directly integrated with its CRM.

Member & Supplier Directory

Corporate Members have the option to search the supplier directory by a range of criteria for an Indigenous business that meets their requirements. The online Opportunity Board allows Supply Nation Members to post contract opportunities for Indigenous Certified Suppliers.

Suppliers are required to follow a certification process. Once certified, they are provided with a profile page to showcase their offering and are included in the directory for corporate businesses to find them. They can also view the opportunity board for projects that would suit their skill set.


Events are created from the CMS where price points for Full Members, Associate Members and Non-members are set. Once an event is created, the event registration workflow can then be applied to one or many pages throughout the website.

Registrations are accepted via the online form and then pushed back into the Dynamics CRM, where the registrations are then managed by the Supply Nation team.

Expression of Interest

The first step to becoming a certified member or supplier of Supply Nation is to fill out the Expression of Interest form. On submission of the form, a workflow process is triggered and the new data is pushed into Dynamics CRM as a lead, where the new business is then reviewed internally by the Supply Nation team. Once the prospective member or supplier has been certified, they are automatically sent a welcome email with credentials to access the member-only portals.

EDM Management

Supply Nation leverage EDM market leader, Campaign Monitor for their email marketing campaigns. Seamlessly integrated with AMS, website administrators can create dynamic segments using the advanced segmentation tools from the MRM. Supply Nation staff can then select the type of communication template from a custom-designed set of templates (Newsletter, Alert, Events etc), before adding their content and sending out its campaign.
